We welcomed the new year to fireworks on Navy Pier in Chicago, then took in the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field.

NMU Hockey Returns this Weekend
The NMU Wildcat Men’s Hockey team returns to the ice this weekend on October 5th. The Wildcat’s will be playing Toronto in exhibition action. I have a website that I maintain for the wildcats – CatHockey.com

Professional hockey began in Houghton, MI with the first team to pay all players. Houghton ins year later became the home to the first professional league.
